After successfully passing the tutorial, the first thing you’ll do is to gather some wood and iron to craft your first tracks. You will have to decide who among your peers gets to do which job so that your team functions like a clockwork producing and laying out tracks in a line. Of course that is until you are trapped in a flock of unbudging cows, you reach a choke point in the terrain that cuts you off from your crafting wagon or your train starts burning in flames because someone forgot to water it. Play casually with your friends or try to set a new Unrailed world record.

If however you manage to survive, after some time you will see the landscape change, from the grass green Switzerland over snowy mountains populated by scary yetis and sleepy walruses through a far reaching desert where bandits lurk around every cactus and lush oases with camels tanning in the sun to an ecosystem interweaved by hot lava streams and haunted by otherworldly creatures.
By default Unrailed! is a rogue-like coop game which means that once you and your friends crash your train, you will have to start over in the same or in a new world. However you can also lower the stakes by enabling checkpoints.

Replays and Online Highscores

Unrailed! features a replay mode with which you can watch and fast forward your favorite railroad engineerings again. You can also try to challange other teams in the official Unrailed! highscore list or just check out their replays to improve your own stragegies.

Mixed Local and Online Multiplayer

Unrailed! features a local and online multiplayer mode (and even allows to mix both!). Find fellow railroad engineers online on our Discord community and build railways longer or faster than other teams online while playing with one or more players locally!

Endless, Versus or Quick?

Play cooperatively with up to four players in a single team in endless, sandbox and quick mode or challenge the roguelike co-op skills of your friends in a two versus two game.
